Good afternoon, I am a junior at Hasitings High school in Hastings, MI and I love to speak in public. I am beginning my search for the right college to attend and would appriciate any suggestions from you. Currently I am competing in a regonial public speaking compatition and love it. It is very unclear how to pursue a career in public speaking however, I am very excited to research any and all options. Thank you so much for your time. I appreciate the time you will spend answering this email and look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerly,
Emma James Morawski
Emma,
It sounds like you’re on the right track! Study something you love in college, build your expertise and success after you graduate and that will become your topic. You need to become an expert in something companies will pay to hear you speak about. In the meantime, take the Free Speaking Course at http://www.freespeakingcourse.com and read Elliot Saltzman’s book, How to Become a Million Dollar Speaker.
