One of the most common questions I get is “How do you practice for keynote speaking tours?” The answer isn’t sexy, and the practice isn’t fun, but it’s helped me earn over $15 million dollars in speaking fees over the course of my career. Not as much as some, but enough to help us leverage these speeches into multi-year, 6-7 figure corporate training contracts, which is where we’ve had most of our success. This practice strategy was given to me by the great Bill Gove, back in 1996, which I explain in this short video. (5-minutes) The good news is that the opportunity to pass many of the biggest speakers in the business is still there, because many of them are far too comfortable to keep practicing. For me, it was the chance of a lifetime. I hope it will be the same for you.
