Last week Marcus Lemonis, famous for his hit TV show, The Profit, on CNBC, delivered a unique closing keynote speech in Orlando, Florida. Few times in the past 25 years as a professional speaker have I seen a speaker captivate an audience at this level. It was a masterclass on how to connect with an audience. In this video I break down exactly what he did and why it worked. #personaldevelopment #publicspeaking

Steve Siebold, CSP My name is Steve Siebold. I’m an author with 1.4 million books in print, and a professional speaker and consultant to Fortune 500 sales teams on how to increase sales and retention rates through mental toughness training. My corporate clients include Johnson & Johnson, Toyota, Harrah’s Entertainment, Procter & Gamble, GlaxoSmithKline, Ingersoll Rand, etc.
I bought a book one day just to be able to read the title over and over and over anytime I wanted to. The book was titled “Everyone Communicates – Few Connect” by John Maxwell. The title of the book has served me well over the years in my presentations. You “know” when you have connected with your audience and have left them with a lot more of you than just your presentation. And – by the way – it is a pretty darn good book to read.
Sounds like a great book, Harry!
“To get inside the mind and heart of those in your audience, and help them motivate
themselves – this is the highest level you can ascend to as a professional speaker.” ~ Steve
